Bonda is such an amazing recipe – no soaking and grinding is involved. Today I am going to share with you a very simple yet, crispy bonda using dosa batter. You can treat your sudden guests with this instant bonda. It is so crispy. If the dosa batter is so runny, you can adjust the consistency by adding rice flour.  Serve this bonda with hot tea or coffee.Serve this bonda with hot tea or coffee. Let’s start making it.

Ingredients
  1. Dosa batter: 1 cup
  2. Large onion: 1 finely chopped
  3. Green chili: 2 finely chopped
  4. Ginger: 1" piece finely chopped
  5. Peppercorns: 1 tsp
  6. Cashews: 5
  7. Asafoetida: 1/2 tsp
  8. Curry leaves: 1 sprig
  9. Coriander leaves
  10. Oil for frying
  11. Salt.
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, combine fermented batter with all the ingredients except oil and mix it well.
  2. Heat enough oil for frying.
  3. Take a ladle of batter and gently drop it into hot oil.
  4. Fry till golden and drain it on a paper towel.
  5. Serve hot with chutney.

Step wise cooking:

Get ready with the ingredients.

Mix the dosa mavu batter with all the rest of the ingredients except oil. mix it well.

Take a ladle of batter and gently drop into hot oil. Fry till golden and drain the excess oil on a paper towel.

Crispy dosa mavu bonda is ready to be served!
